According to the measure provided for in the draft
State Budget
for 2023, families moving inland and living in a rented house will
benefit from a €1,000 annual deduction to the IRS collection, above the
€502 estimated in the
IRS Code in most renters. This benefit will last for three years.
To be able to benefit from this deduction, you must have
rental
contracts concluded under the urban rental regime, applying also, to
cases of long-term housing right contracts in the year in which the
amounts in question are subject to tax as income of the owner.
According
to the tax website, taxpayers must refer to "the invoices or other
document that are related to the lease that results in the transfer of
the permanent residence to a landlocked territory" in order to be
entitled to this deduction.
