Galp announced reductions in the prices of electricity and natural gas, in accordance with updates in the values currently practised, to come into force in April. There will be average reductions of 15% for electricity and 27% for natural gas, as a result of the positive evolution that energy suppliers have been considering.

The company that owns Petrogal and Gás de Portugal states: "the average reduction in the billing of electricity customers compared to the current table translates into a decrease of 6.2 euros per month" for a customer with a contracted power of 6.9 kVA and average monthly consumption of 218 kWh, and for natural gas, this decrease translates into 6.48 euros per month, for a customer who is integrated in the first scale of natural gas and has average monthly consumption of 130 kWh.

Similarly to gas and electricity, electric mobility will also see decreases in values, with off-peak charging falling by around €0.0364 kWh. Galp also confirms that, in the case of off-peak charging, "the price of the https://supercasa.pt/en-gb/noticias/tem-sistemas-com-fontes-de-energia-renovavel-em-casa-vem-ai-novos-apoios/n4316energy needed to cover 100 kilometres will fall to 3.36 euros", all of these values excluding VAT.

At the beginning of the year, Galp had already lowered the price of electricity, specifically for families and small businesses, and has now proceeded to update the values.
