"Human Hive": Russian condominiums with over 18,000 residents
An entire city contained in a gigantic residential block in Kudrovo, a town located just under half an hour's drive from the former Russian imperial capital. In the huge building, called Novy Okkervil, in which between 18,000 and 20,000 people reside.

The condominium is a beehive of epic dimensions that totals 3,708 apartments, with 35 entrances and 25 floors. For each floor there are an average of four to six apartments and communications are facilitated with four elevators per staircase.

The complex was built in 2015 and it didn't take long to get known. In addition to housing a huge number of neighbors, it has dedicated facilities for businesses that were not slow to take an interest in the community of Novy Okkervil. Among the businesses that have set up shop over time are beauty salons, grocery stores, coffee shops, post office, stationery store, private daycare, pet shop, flower shop, and others. 

An authentic town that functions like a "Kudrovo hive" practically an island in the Leningrad region.

The large number of residents occupying the block has also attracted other businesses and services that have chosen to settle around it, where there is also a metro station that allows you to reach Sennaya Square in about half an hour, in the heart of the almond city of Petersburg.

As for prices, regarding a one-bedroom apartment, you are charged about 19,000 rubles per month, equivalent to 217 euros. Those who choose to buy will find two-bedroom houses for 7.5 million rubles, approximately 85,500 euros.

Other highlights of the condominium are the enormous parking that the courtyard of the complex features, for the cars of the thousands of residents of Novy Okkervil, which does not prevent it from being common to find vehicles parked in double row.
