European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen said: Our emergency plan to reduce gas demand across the EU is now in force and several member states have already taken valuable, voluntary steps towards our goal: together, we aim to reduce gas use by at least 15%. These measures go along with the premise that saving energy is vital for the energy security of the European Union (EU). Currently, in the face of the war in Ukraine, Russian supplies to the EU have been cut, so energy saving is vital for Europes energy security, says the leader of the EU executive. The safeguard for a possible disruption in gas supply from Russia is to reduce consumption in the EU to at least 15% by spring 2023, thus storing the maximum in member states. The regulation came into force following a political deliberation in Brussels, where the 27 met and reached an agreement around the proposal presented by the European Commission. The Council of the EU approved and formally adopted the regulation. It provides for the possibility of creating a Union alert in the event of shortages, a scenario in which a reduction in the demand for gas would become mandatory. Portugal, according to Duarte Cordeiro, Minister of the Environment, states that, can deduce a set of circumstances in which it also faces, such as the production of electricity in the security of the system or the need to use gas as a raw material in industries or indispensable sectors.

Buying a house brings together many costs and expenses, not only the monthly fee you will have to pay for the loan, water and electricity bills, etc. As well as the money spent on decoration, furniture, appliances, insurance for the property and the filling of the house. #1 Choosing the style of house you want Everyone has their own preferences and needs, look for a house that meets these two premises. The maintenance capacity and responsibility are also important points to consider when buying a house. #2 Family When you think of starting a family, or even getting married, the thought of buying a house increases, having your own home is different. I do some financial planning and organise all the possibilities of buying. Buying a house is not an easy procedure, if you are organised financially the process can become simpler. #3 Independence If you are looking for independence in your daily life, and you no longer resolve to share a house with family or friends, looking for a house is the best solution, not forgetting the requirements when doing so. #4 Debts You need to be aware that it will not only be the monthly instalment that you will have to pay, but all the expenses and any other debt that may arise. The most ambitious residential project in Portugal has already guaranteed the placement of 75% of the 176 flats that make up the first of six phases of the Antas Atrium, which is located in Porto and began its marketing in April 2021. The construction, which began in September 2021, has the delivery of the first phase already scheduled for the last quarter of 2023, with the work running on schedule, reaching already the structure of the last floor of the building, according to a statement sent to SUPERCASA News . The quality of the project and the careful selection of construction and finishing materials guarantee the excellence of the Development. The several phases to be developed will result in a unique development in the national context, creating a closed and private condominium with an extensive green and leisure centre, with about 15 500 m², where you can find childrens playgrounds, leisure areas, community vegetable gardens, outdoor exercise spaces, among others. The new way of living the City has had a high level of acceptance and demand in the market, which has allowed the launching of the next phases to be scheduled. According to the administrator Carlos Vasconcelos the markets reaction to this project has been surprising, 75% sold in one year is without a doubt an indicator that clearly proves that the project was thought and designed with a bet on the key differentiating vectors. We are already programming the launch of the second phase. The first building to be put on the market has 176 flats and four commercial areas, distributed in typologies from T0 to T4, full of private balconies and terraces, with parking for all units, as well as storage room and charging points for electric cars. Each phase has its own interior amenities such as swimming pool, gym, childrens area, laundry area and bicycle park and its own green area (2,300 m²) with outdoor playground, community vegetable garden and relaxation and wellness areas. In this phase, four commercial areas will also be built, with a total gross construction area of around 1,000 m². One of the developments competitive advantages is its location. This area intends to become the new centre of Porto, close to everything: from shopping areas, the Alameda Shopping centre, the Dragão stadium, the Citizens Store, medical clinics, schools, among countless other services and options to support families daily lives. The proximity of the connection to the VCI and to the public transport network that feeds the entire Antas area makes the project easily accessible. The Development is assumed by its innovation, modernity and differentiated positioning, with a contemporary architecture and designed in harmony with the surrounding area. Its scale was designed to be an advantage for the city of Porto and for its residents, bringing together three pillars that are difficult to replicate: complementary amenities, price and outdoor spaces. It is positioned in two main markets: national resident families and investors who are looking for interesting profitability solutions as an alternative investment. In the international market we have felt a growing increase in demand for both first and second homes in Portugal.
Bragança and Guarda are the two safest districts in Portugal, according to Securitas Directs Security Barometer from January to July 2022, which evaluates the safest areas of the country, taking into account the number of incidences (actual alarm and intrusion triggers) per District registered by the Alarm Receiving Centre of the company that manages, in Portugal, more than 1 million devices and remains active 24 hours, 365 days a year, according to a statement sent to SUPERCASA News. According to the same companys barometer, the majority of robberies and attempted robberies at businesses until July 2022 occurred between 2am and 4pm. According to the Barometer, the districts of Bragança and Guarda are the safest, both with an incidence rate of 0.06%, followed by Castelo Branco (0.08%) and Vila Real (0.09%). Completing the Top 5 is Viseu (0.10%). Shops and restaurants are the businesses with the highest incidence According to the Barometer, at a national level, small businesses - shops and restaurants - registered around six in every 10 attempts (56%) of theft or intrusion in the business sector, while companies registered 29% of incidences and industry only 15%. In the private individuals segment, houses and villas represent the majority of incidences, with about nine in every 10 cases (86.3%). Flats represent only 13.4%. Activating electronic elements that are, above all, deterrents, such as a home alarm or a video surveillance system connected to an alarm-receiving centre are the best recommendation to avoid scare situations, says Luís Quintino, Director of Operations at Securitas Direct in Portugal. Available for homes and businesses, Arlo cameras are already a prominent solution in Securitas Directs portfolio. Thanks to their advanced technology, Arlo cameras can record video in Full HD resolution, day or night, in colour and with high quality, making it possible to distinguish between people, animals and vehicles. These features allow the Securitas Direct professionals to understand more accurately whether it is a real shot or not. When it detects movement or sound around it, the camera records a video clip and sends an immediate alert. At a time of holidays, when Portuguese families are in the habit of being away from their homes or when businesses close for a period of time, it is essential to have an intelligent system that allows the customer to identify the reason for the alarm.
According to the OECD (Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development), the Advanced Composite Indicators, developed to advance the change in economic activity for the next six to nine months, continue to point to a deteriorating outlook in most major economies. These indicators are below trend and continue to anticipate a loss of growth momentum in most major OECD economies due to rising inflation, low consumer confidence and declining stock prices. The worst affected economies are the UK, Canada and the US, in the eurozone we are talking about France, Italy and Germany, according to an OECD statement. The OECD added that with the uncertainties of the unfolding War in Ukraine, new threats from Sars-cov-2, disruptions in supply chains and rising inflation in real income of the population give rise to high swings with respect to normality in the components of the advanced composite indicators. As a result, the indicators should be interpreted with caution and their magnitude should be an indication of the strength of the signal rather than as a measure of growth in economic activity, the organisation stressed.
Transferring home credit life insurance does not involve a lot of bureaucracy, making it a simple and effective process that will allow you to make significant savings. The costs associated with mortgage loans are an expense in the family budget, although this remains constant, the life insurance premium increases with age, even with a reduction in the capital guaranteed. Often the transfer of credit is the solution to stabilise and balance the finances. Normally when you take out a mortgage loan, the life insurance contract is associated with it. Very few banks exclude this option. The financial entity will appear the contract of life insurance and in return offers a bonus on the spread, in some cases. However, this solution is not always the most reliable, many financial institutions do not inform their clients that they can take out insurance with an insurer outside the bank. Always collect proposals from several insurers to understand which is the best decision. The value of the insurance premium is not included in the monthly instalment that you will have to pay, it will always be an added value. The life insurance of a credit is a contract with a term stipulated in accordance with the credit term, based on the capital of the credit. In case of default or some misfortune, this insurance prevents your heirs from being left without debt, as the credit is fully paid by the value associated in the life insurance, it also guarantees the entity the reimbursement of the capital. According to the Decree-Law n.º 222/2009 came, in its article 4, it is possible to request the transfer of credit to an insurer during the validity of the contract. The demand for credit transfer should be made according to the proposals presented, review all the conditions and exclusions. As the years go by, the premium will increase successively, this is because the probability of fatality also increases, which causes the amount associated to the insurance to present higher values. The transfer can then be a good decision.
