According to the Ministry of Finance "performance constraints were registered in e-invoice access during 27 February, affecting the period between 10pm and 11.30pm, with no total unavailability of the service". For thousands of taxpayers, this has led to incorrect validation of their invoices.
The reasons for this have already been ascertained, and are due to the heavy traffic on the website, with "massive and centralised access during the period in question". 27 February was effectively the last day for validating invoices for 2022, in order to benefit from deductions in the IRS collection, but, following the complaints made, the Ministry of Finance recalls that there is the possibility of filing a claim.
The Ministry of Finance stresses: "taxpayers can, within the period between 16 and 31 March 2023, consult the expenses for deduction to the IRS collection ascertained by the Tax and Customs Authority (AT) and, if there is any omission or inaccuracy in the expenses or their calculation, claim the general family expenses or the invoices of expenses entitled to VAT deduction by the invoice requirement ascertained by the AT".
If you do not agree with the values registered in the system, in the expenses with health, education, training and expenses with buildings and homes, you should make the corrections manually, in Annex H of the IRS declaration, in the respective field for that purpose.
