When a project combines the best location in the city with a Pritzker Prize (the Nobel Prize of architecture), the result can only be unique. Eduardo Souto de Moura designs the residential building that will change the face of Cais da Fonte Nova, in Aveiro, uniting the estuary, green space and evoking the city’s Art Nouveau heritage in the colour palette. ’We were concerned that the areas correspond to the quality of the materials and vice versa.
