Através da consolidação dos alinhamentos com as fachadas existentes nos edifícios contíguos, a proposta procura um enquadramento urbano uniforme. Ponderada esta questão urbanística, a intervenção concentrou-se na reorganização dos espaços interiores. Estes cerca de 2070 m² de construção oferecem uma localização muito privilegiada, em plena artéria principal da cidade e, ao mesmo tempo, perto do campo, uma vez que se encontra muito perto da Cava de Viriato, envolvida numa bela arborização e num contexto geográfico propício ao visionamento da excelente paisagem da zona histórica da cidade.
