APFIPP confirms that the value of 205 real estate funds amounted to €12.4 billion, including real estate and other real estate holdings.

At the end of February there was a considerable increase in the global net value of real estate investment funds, according to figures released by the Portuguese Association of Investment, Pension and Property Funds (APFIPP), which show that, of the 205 associated real estate funds, the value under management would be more than 10 billion, including not only stakes in various funds, as well as real estate, with a total value that reaches 12.4 billion euros.
These figures make up an increase of 17.6% and APFIPP explains: "on February 28, 2023, the value of real estate assets held by OIIs [Real Estate Investment Undertakings], which includes real estate, stakes in Real Estate Companies and OII Units, amounted to 12,438.5 million euros, which represents a decrease of 0.1% compared to January 2023. Since the end of 2022, there has been a reduction of 0.1% while in the last 12 months there has been an increase of 17.6%."
Thus, the overall net value of these investments represented a decrease of 0.3% compared to January 2023, while there was an increase of 0.2% compared to the end of last year, with an effective growth of 10.2%.
