In January 2022, the requalification of the aforementioned Praça Marechal Humberto Delgado was announced in view of the need to make this area a more attractive and safe space, since it has one of the most important transport interfaces, crossed by one of the main roads in the city - the North-South Axis. This redevelopment of the Sete-Rios area includes the creation of an urban square, with green spaces, new furniture and urban lighting. The Correspondence Pavilion (which houses the rail and road interface) and a significant area for the implementation of a system of recreational water games, as well as a children’s playground, will also be refurbished. #ref:BLO_146_A (11)
