A team of 22 students from Eindhoven University of Technology in the Netherlands, Solar Team Eindhoven, presents the first solar-powered mobile home, where you can live and work while traveling. Called Stella Vita, it can travel up to 730 kilometers and is fully self-efficient.
Although it doesn't have the space of a regular house, it has room to eat and alone, sleep, take care of personal hygiene, and can generate enough solar energy to drive, bathe, watch TV, charge your cell phone, and make coffee. When the vehicle is stationary, it is possible to open the roof, which allows the panels to expand to 17.5 square meters and provide more space and comfort inside.
Kjell Revenberg, the coordinator of Solar Team Eindhoven, says that this university team is the future and next generation, encouraging and accelerating the transition to a more sustainable futuristic direction.
