Farmers´ house of robust Alentejo architecture, located in the village of Porto Espada, with two floors, around 500 m2 of area and 16 rooms, was originally built in the 17th century. At the foot of the Serra de S. Mamede and the village of Marvão, it is located a few kilometres from Castelo de Vide and the city of Portalegre, 5 kilometres from the Spanish border and two kilometres from the Roman city of Ammaia. Exempt from Use Permit, due to registration in the matrix prior to 7 August 1951. CMM certificate no. 1835792 dated 06/07/2023. The house has one part preserved with old wooden ceilings and large slabs of slate, and a second area, under construction, with two separate entrances that could be used for local accommodation. It also has a porch for parking up to 3 cars, a cellar area and a lounge/dining room with fireplace in a covered area independent of the main house, measuring around 120 m2. #ref:12225
