Throughout the design process and its construction, the house benefited from a close collaboration of the owners, a couple of artists, being she a ceramist and he a sculptor and painter. The choice of construction in mud appeared as evidence due to the climatic aspects, the defence of the Alentejo heat, creating an environment with thermal inertia, and also because it is a traditional technique suitable for a building with only one floor.
