In an exclusive interview, Jessica Pião, Director of Communication of SUPERCASA, speaks openly about SUPERCASA - Portal that has recorded a high growth in the market. She tells us about the positive results that SUPERCASA has achieved since its launch and leaves open new projects for the future.

What is the balance of the SUPERCASA launch to date?


I begin by saying that SUPERCASA is already in its third calendar year and we can say that 2023 is being the great year of affirmation of the Portal. Last year, we started a strong international campaign that placed our portal in the first position in searches for real estate in Portugal, from any country in the world. At this time, we left our main competitor behind and SUPERCASA is now a must in the online strategy of any real estate company. If you want to be in the market, it is the strongest option.


And how has SUPERCASA evolved in the domestic market?


Well, we started by mentioning the international market, but our big campaign of affirmation - as it couldn't be otherwise - is in the national market. Any interested in real estate, be he Portuguese or of another nationality, will be exposed to the SUPERCASA properties, given the prominent positioning on the Internet assured by the portal. This has been our promise since launch and we are keeping it.

The SUPERCASA is unavoidable and that is why all the public that searches for real estate goes through the portal. In this sense, we will continue to develop all the necessary strategies to continue to offer a high return. Because we truly help brokerage companies in their online strategy.


Regarding the investment to be made in the promotion of SUPERCASA in 2023, what values are we talking about?

The investment planned for this year is around 5.3 million euros, which exceeds the budget made by any other real estate portal. The main goal of the campaigns planned for this year is to affirm SUPERCASA as the leading portal in the real estate market. From a real estate company's point of view, this is the best time to be in SUPERCASA. This is because all the investment made in the promotion of the portal will bring to all the real estate agents present in the SUPERCASA a return of values that they will hardly be able to obtain in another portal.


What is your analysis of the current national panorama? And how do you see the rise of SUPERCASA compared to the competition?

It is a natural affirmation and growth. Besides, we cannot ignore that part of the SUPERCASA competitors are no longer under the management of their founders, since they are now managed by international funds, in a reality where their main goal is the revenue obtained. Consequently, these portals double and even triple the costs they charge to their customers every year.

When these competing portals forget the promise to their customers and focus on obtaining more and more revenue, their decline begins. Portals stop delivering what they promise and that makes life easier for us, we are running more for the client, we want to deliver even more, and at this moment I am sure that SUPERCASA is the number 1 option for any player in the market, I have no doubt about that.

It also happens that many mediators refused the increases imposed by some competitors, and found SUPERCASA in the process of leading the market. It was a natural migration: first the most attentive and professional companies arrive, and then the whole market follows them.

We have a team of about 160 people dedicated exclusively - by far the most technologically prepared team in the market. From a financial point of view we also have one of the best, if not the best, budget, and an experience of more than 20 years exclusively in real estate and on the internet.


And what are your plans for the future? Could Spain be the next market?

To tell you the truth, we have been present in the Spanish market for about 14 years now, and just like in Portugal, we are one of the main real estate companies in the Spanish market. However, our activity remains focused on real estate CRM. Of course, the natural step will be to launch SUPERCASA Spain. But I can't reveal much more about it. The only thing I can tell you is that our team in Spain is highly motivated! Let's wait and see... there may be good news soon.
