Euribor rates for all months rose again, with interest rates reaching new highs.
Euribor rates once again recorded a new increase in values at all maturities. The most used in Portugal, the six month rate, on 16 August saw a drop to 0.745%, 0.010 points less since the last record, today it showed a new record to 0.826%, 0.081 points more.
For the three-month term, the increase was 0.391%, while last Tuesday it fell to 0.333%, down 0.058 points.
The 12-month term, Euribor showed a decrease at the beginning of the week of 0.040 points since the last record, to 1.118% against an increase today to 1.229%, or 0.111 points.
The increase in Euribor rates is a consequence of the European Central Bank's decisions to combat inflation in the euro zone. Also admitting that the evolution of Euribor interest rates may continue to rise, due to the rises and falls in the key ECB interest rates.
