Although the Portal follows all the good practices of the market, there is no way to ensure the authenticity of the advertiser.

It is recommended that you never provide personal data or transfer monetary values as a deposit or down payment without first making sure that the professional is properly identified.

What is the most common fraud?

Among the various scams that can be committed, the most common is a request for a deposit to reserve or visit the property for rent, usually with the addition of features outside the "normal" market, which should make you suspicious:

• Dream home;
• Very competitive price, below market value;
• Good location;
• Text in strange Portuguese with unnatural expressions;
• Response from the advertiser in a different language from the ad;

What makes these frauds successful is the fact that they seem to meet the desires or needs of the recipients. However, if it seems too good, you should always be suspicious to avoid unpleasant situations.
